Component Sourcing Workflow

**Prepare BOM:** Ensure your **BOM (Bill of Materials)** clearly defines part type, package, and quantity. A reference link or Digikey/Mouser part number is highly recommended.
**Submit Files:** Send your BOM as an **Excel or CSV** file to service@pcbalab.com.
**Receive Quote:** We send back an estimated price for every single part for your checking.
**Confirm & Pay:** You confirm the parts you want to proceed with. After payment, we source the parts and either ship them to you or use them for your PCBA assembly.

Pcbalab will only proceed with the parts and quantities you specifically confirm after reviewing the detailed quote.

Pricing & Quality Assurance Policy

Component Substitution Policy:

**ICs and Sensitive Parts:** We will strictly use the **original new brand (Marked “Y”)** as appointed.
**Common Components (R/C):** We may source a **substitute brand (Marked “N”)** to lower cost and shorten lead time, guaranteed to meet the original spec.
**Transparency:** Our quote will clearly mark all components as "Y" (Original) or "N" (Substitute) for your final approval.

Pricing & Payment Structure:

**Base Price:** The minimum charge for starting a sourcing request is **$20**.
**Final Price:** Depends on the actual cost of the components plus the base price.
**Payment Method:** You purchase a quantity of the "$1/unit" service equal to the final quoted price (e.g., $40 quote = 40 units).
**Budget Control:** You can set a maximum budget for us to follow. We will notify you of any issues or delays immediately.

Quality Guarantee & Liability

We guarantee accurate and high-quality parts. If components are wrong or have quality issues, notify us within **45 days** of shipment. We will cover return shipping costs if the error is due to component quality or failure to meet your requirements.

**Important:** No warranty applies if the error was caused by an unclearly defined BOM. We strictly source according to the list you provide.
